ABOUT US
Tuba Farm is a small Black and female operated farm and garden center established and cultivated with love and kindness. We created Tuba Farm Foundation, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit, to promote food access and reduce waste, sustainably. We serve communities of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia by providing fresh produce and growing opportunities to those who are historically underserved and disadvantaged.
Your financial support for BIPOC farmers helps us provide farm fresh produce to our local communities.
About the Farm
Tuba is a Solar Powered U-Pick Market Garden in Glassboro, New Jersey. We employ several sustainable growing concepts that include No-till and encourage Permaculture. We serve urban and rural communities in Southern New Jersey, especially those designated as food deserts. We provide our produce free to food pantries in Gloucester and Camden County and distribute onsite & at local Farmers Markets.
We engage in diverse produce farming, herb gardening, bee keeping, hydroponic growing, growing flowers, and raising livestock. Additionally, as part of Tuba’s land conservation plan, growing a tree orchard is essential to our Food Forest.
