Thank you for supporting local agriculture and making a difference in your community!
All our flowers are meadow and edible cut flower varietals grown especially for a freshly cut bouquet. Most of our flowers are started from seed 3-6 months before we can transplant them in the garden. This year, we planted 500 native flowers, dozens of varieties of pollen-less sunflowers, zinnias, and many other annuals and perennials. In addition, we also have hundreds of mixed colors of marigolds, calendula, yarrow, alliums and lilies. You will also find a wide selection of supporting fillers and ornamental grasses to make your bouquet look stunning.
Most people can fit 25 to 35 stems in the pitcher we provide when you arrive (these pitchers are not included). We suggest you pick a combination of up to two "focal flowers" (lilies and sunflowers), then supplement with other annual/perennial flowers and fillers and foliage for good balance. You can either create your bouquet at the farm or take the cut flowers and make multiple arrangements at home. Many of these flowers would cost $4 to $8 a stem at a florist, if available. Cutting fresh flowers from the garden will let you enjoy them much longer than store-bought bouquets. We want you to fill up your pitcher with flowers but please don't forget that we are a working farm and we pay our team a living wage. We grow our flowers from seed and it takes us months to get them to look like what you see at the farm. We also buy specialty starts that are hard to grow ourselves because we want to provide you with an abundance of specialty cut flowers.
No. We allow walk-ins from June until September on the days that we are open. However, the farm is where our family lives and we value our privacy so we ask that our visitors come during business hours. Once on the farm, we ask that you stay within the boundaries of the flower field and not wander around the rest of the property.
Simply reach out to us at least 12 hours before pickup time to designate an alternative beneficiary or we will donate your box to a local charity the following Monday.
We got you covered.
